Awards season is officially open, with the recently concluded 74th Golden Globes. Needless to say we were glued to our screens, making mental notes of all the amazing runway fashion and beauty on display.
Here are some of our favourite looks from the golden night.
PC brought the ‘golden’ to the red carpet, presenting at the Golden Globes in a Ralph Lauren Collection one-of-a-kind hand embroidered gold evening dress!
Blake Lively was stunning in her Atelier Versace black gown
The winner of the best actress award for her performance in the movie “La La Land’ was dressed in Valentino gown teamed with Jimmy Choo shoes, a Valentino clutch and Tiffany and Co. jewellery.
teamed with Jimmy Choo shoes, a Valentino clutch and Tiffany and Co. jewellery.
Accustomed as we are to seeing her in trademark Olivia Pope all-white ensembles, it was a refreshing change to see her red carpet avatar in this embellished black-and-gold Dolce & Gabbana gown paired with Sophia Webster sandals.
Lily Collins had us spellbound in the most fairy tale of dresses of the night in a pink Zuhair Murad Couture gown.
Meryl Streep with her Cecil B. DeMille Award, dressed in a bejewelled full-length black gown by Givenchy, with full-length sleeves and v-neckline with sharp shoulders gave off an air of power and grace. Needless to say we are not erasing her hard hitting speech as she accepted her award any time soon.
Brie was a vision in red, in a strapless, studded corset style gown by Rodarte
We loved Amy Adams ultra modern look. The actress worked with Tom Ford on her strapless gown, which had a constructed bodice and high neckline.
This isn't the first time we are spotting Reese in yellow. This year she wore a strapless yellow Versace gown with a thigh-high slit up the front, accessorised with a gold floral jewelled choker necklace and soft, simple makeup.
Sofia Vergara in a
liquid bold sheer metallic Zuhair Murad gown and striking earrings from Lorraine Schwartz.
Another yellow on the red carpet! Natalie Portman channelled her first lady chic in this stunning Prada gown that skimmed neatly over her growing baby bump.
