Do You Know Your Face Shape?

Posted on August 29 2016

Let's start with figuring out what your face shape is.

Once you've got that sorted, identifying the most flattering of haircuts or selecting the right pair of sunnies will become a piece of cake!

A square face is nearly as wide as it is long.

If you have a square face, the sides of your face are straight and your jawline is slightly angled with a very minimal curve.

Also referred to as OBLONG, a rectangular face is similar to a square shaped face but longer than it is wide.

If you have a rectangular face , your forehead, cheeks, and jawline are approximately the same width and your chin will have a very slight curve.

A round face is just a square-shaped face with softer angles.

If you have a round face the sides of your face curve slightly outwards instead of being straight. Round faced girls will see that their cheekbones are the widest part of their face.

An oval face is similar to a rectangular face but with a softer chin and more curve at the cheeks.

Think of an upside down egg -  if you have an oval face your forehead will only be slightly wider than your chin.

A diamond face has a pointed chin and high cheekbones

If someone drew lines connecting the centre of your hairline to your cheekbones and down to your chin, it would create a diamond shape—hence, the name.

Heart shaped faces are often confused with diamond shaped ones.

If your chin is pointed and your forehead is the widest part of your face, you have a heart-shaped face. The main difference between this shape and that of the diamond is the hairline - heart shaped faces have wider hair lines.
