Are you as tired of monochromes as we are? Isn't it enough that the skies are grey and the fog enveloping our cities has converted everything to a ghostly shade of "no-colour", for want of a better word? Do we need to abandon colour in our wardrobe as well?
We thought not, and accordingly did a quick recce of what's in the stores in order to find some beautiful colourful classics with which to brighten up and recharge our otherwise dull January!
Here are the top 6 silhouettes and colours from our favourite high street/ mall stores.
H&M- Crop sweaters are big this winter and look what we happened to stumble upon. A chunky crop jumper from H&M. This bottle green knit pullover has long & baggy sleeves, and a stand-up collar. Team it with a pair of boyfriend jeans or a flirty dress and jazzy trainers to complete the look. (Price - Rs.2999/-)
Fabindia - How about adorning your wardrobe with some yellow? Try out the Silk Habutai Quilted Jacket from Fabindia. This reversible jacket comes in various designs with a printed lining inside. Club it with your formal trousers or a pair of jeans for a chic look. (Price- Rs.3990/-)
Zara - Zara never disappoints! We fell in love with this blue coat - it has zipper pockets an an asymmetrical hem . It would go best with a pair of black pants and striped shirt. (Price- Rs 2990/-)
Tommy Hilfiger- Are polka dots your thing? This front buttoned stylish sweater will look absolutely gorgeous this season with a dress or skirt or even with jeans. (Price- Rs 3499/-)
Zara- Get adventurous and replace your black overcoat with this carnation pink topcoat from Zara. Such a great layering option over boot cut jeans, a shirt and a classic sweater. (Price- Rs 6990/-)
Tommy Hilfiger- Re -live the magic of Christmas with this red hand-knit jumper with a white snow flake design from Tommy Hilfiger. (Price- Rs.3499/-)
That's all for now gorgeous.....xoxo
